Overview
ClickBank Sellers are required to provide high res, flat labels (full-color, .JPG, .PDF, or .PNG). You will need to submit a label for every product you will be adding to your ClickBank account. If you have a variety of flavors or potencies, each of those will need to be submitted.
Why does ClickBank need my labels for review?
ClickBank requires both new and established sellers to submit labels for any new physical products so we can verify that they comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws.
By reviewing sellers’ labels, we help ensure that all products sold through our platform are legally compliant and accurately represented to customers.
For example, there are FTC (Federal Trade Commission) laws that require clear, truthful, and non‑misleading marketing claims on labels, as well as appropriate disclosures so that consumers are not deceived.
Additionally, there are FDA (Food and Drug Administration) laws that require proper ingredient listings, nutrition facts (where applicable), required warnings, and specific formatting and terminology for products such as dietary supplements, cosmetics, and certain foods.
Sellers may not be aware of all the nuances of complying with every law and regulation that applies to them. However, as an e‑commerce platform, ClickBank is obligated to comply with these laws and to help ensure that products sold through our marketplace do the same. Because of this, we take label review very seriously. This protects our customers, supports our sellers, and helps maintain a safe and trustworthy marketplace for everyone.
What should I include for review?
The following items must be reviewed by ClickBank if a seller plans to use them on their product or with their product during or after the sale:
Front End Products (All flavors/ colors)
Upsell/ Downsell Products (All flavors/ colors)
Order Bump Items (All flavors/ colors)
What file type should I send?
All product labels must be send in PDF format. The document must be searchable. Any locked or unsearchable PDFs will not be reviewed.
Labels for each product submitted for review must be included.
Any subsequent label changes must also be reviewed. A "label change" includes any change to the label, including, but not limited to: product size, label graphics, font, claims, ingredients, new flavor(s), or formulation, etc.
How long will the review take?
Label compliance reviews can take anywhere between 24-48 business hours. However, they often happen sooner than that.
